A League of Their Own
'A League of Their Own' is a comedy drama film of American, which was come in 1992. The drama shows the reality of All American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL). The film was directed by the director Penny Marshall where Tom Hanks, Rose O'Donnell, Geena Davis, Lori Petty and Madonna are the casts of the movie. Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Madel have written the screenplay of this film while Kim Wilson has written the story.
The 'World War II' was caused to shut down the Major League Baseball and that time Walter Harvey (Garry Marshall), candy manufacturing magnate decided to build women’s league to earn money. Ernie Capadino (Jon Lovitz) was assigned to recruit the players while Ira Lowerstein playing cast as a David Strathaim was a public relation officer. Amongst these there was an important character Tom Hanks done by Jimmy Dugan gave the very famous line 'There's no crying in baseball' to the film. Jimmy Dugan was also the manager of the film.
The character Dottie Hinson is terrific hitter and most attractive player to attract male fans. Pitcher Kit killer is also an important character of the film. Dottie, Kit and Ernie come together in Chicago and meet Mae Mordabito and Doris Murphy. These players have been assigned with other 11 players to form Rockford Peaches.
