The show was conformed in presence of music brands and artists including Brett Dennen, Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band, ccome, Dan, Jessie Baylin, Dyer, The Crystal Method, Dave Matthews Band, The Dead, Erykah Badu, Grizzly Bear, Femi Kuti, Jenny Lewis, Neko Case, The Mars Volta, Midnight Juggernauts, Nine Inch Nails, Okkervil River, Of Montreal, Peter Bjorn and John, Sarah Siskind, Santogold, Spiritualized, TV on the Radio, Toubab Krewe, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Yeasayer. However, there was rumor that the phish and the boss are going to headline the Bonnaroo 2009. The band performed for the first time and played for two nights. Bruce Springsteen joined with his E-Street Band but there was no any football reference.
