Clydesdale Horses
The Clydesdale is class of draft horse, which are derivative of the horses of Clydesdale, Scotland and that's why the name Clydesdale. In the rural areas the species has been used for the pulling heavy loads, urban and industrial setting. In 1960's it was used for to pull the carts of vegetable vendors and milk. Once upon a time, the species was very famous as the mascot of beer brands such as Carlton and United Beverages, Anheuser-Busch's Budweiser brand and some other .Because of that they have been exported in United Sates.
However, the species is on the way to vanish in early years according to the current number. The one time the Clydesdales were counted with at least 140,000 in Scotland. After that by 1949 only 80 Clydesdales were licensed in the United Kingdom and by 1975 the species listed as 'vulnerable'. The species is at risk and are most numerous in United States.
The group of Clydesdale horses is known as Budweiser Clydesdales and is used to commercials and promotions by the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company. At one time eight horses were driven in each hitch. Recently this species is used as animal actors for a TV commercial named as Budweiser beer in Super Bowl ads.
