Collier Township PA
Collier Township is a small township in Allegheny County of Pennsylvania in United States. The township is having population of about 5,265. According to survey of United States the total area of the township is of 14.2 square miles from which 14.2 square miles is of land and about 0.04 square miles is of water. The township is having the inner communities including Rennerdale, Kirwan Heights, Ewing Road, Cubbage Hill, Fort Pitt, Presto and Nevillewood.
Collier Township is having a local municipal government and is defined as the First Class Township Code by the Pennsylvania government. Pennsylvania has also other forms of government that includes cities, villages, boroughs, one town and home rule municipalities. The Collier Township Government is made up of five member board commissioners. The person only can become a township commissioner if he is a register voter and able to maintain the rights of the town. On August 4, 2009 an incident was happened in the township of Pennsylvania at the fitness club. One gunman fired around 15 people and killed himself at the fitness club of PA. According to information he was one of the members of the fitness club. According to some information and people the gunman was a hater of women because of his some past relations that forced him to do this crime.
