Defying Gravity
Defying gravity is a travel television drama and the first part of this drama series will be viewed on August 2, 2009 on CTV and ABC. There is also a show stopper piece of the same name which was composed by Stephen Schwartz and recorded by Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel on November 10, 2003 and was released on December 16, 2003.
There were eight astronauts including four men and four women from five countries who are going on space mission of six year through Solar System. During their journey they are being checked via real time communication from the earth. Shows director James Parriott will tell more about the series on October 29, 2009.
The program is full with adventures of eight astronauts at the International spacecraft Antares. The updates about the astronauts' lives are recorded and transmitted constantly as a part of live documentary of mission. During this journey there happen some emotional attachments and romantic entanglements between crew members.
Further there come some complications in their mission that they undergo the case related to Beta, which affect on their mission. The project was inspired by BBC docufiction series named as Space Odyssy: Voyage to the Plantes, which was came in 2004. BBC, Omni Film Productions, Television Studios and Fox are producing the show. The filming will began on January 19, 2009 in Vancouver, Canada. Till now about thirteen episodes are ordered. The series will last for six months.
