E-Street Band'The E-street Band' is a musical group that used to record with the rock musician Bruce Springsteen. The artists of the musical group includes Bob Dylan, Meat Loaf, Bonnie Tyler, Dire Straits, Air Supply, Peter Gabriel, David Bowie, Ringo Starr, Ian Hunter, Ronnie Spector, Gary U.S. Bonds, Southside Johnny, Darlene Love, the Grateful Dead, Steve Earle, Santana, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, Aretha Franklin and Tracy Chapman.
The members have also recorded solo material with and worked as artists, songwriters, session musicians and record producers before entering the Springsteen. Steven Van Zandt is one of the members is an American musician, arranger, songwriter, actor, record producer and radio disc jockey. The member of the E-Street Band is his best identity, in fact people knows him as a member of the E-Street group. He plays a role as an actor in the television drama 'The Sopranos' as a Silvio Dante. He plays guitar and mandolin in the E-Street Band. The band was found in October 1972 but was without name till September 1974. The base of the band was included Garry Tallent (bass), Danny Federici (Accordian), Clarence Clemons (Saxophone), David Sancious (keyboards) and Vini 'Mad Dog' Lopez (drums). The name E-Street band given for the band was picked from the street of the New Jersey. Bruce Springsteen & 'The Street Band' Greatest Hits is the fifth album by Bruce Springsteen. The album was first released in United States, Australia and Canada in January 13, 2009. The album aimed to appeal people at the half-time show for 'Super Bowl XLIII', which was held on February 1, 2009. it was also aimed to help to clear the investment by the Sony Music for the Springsteen.
