Ed McMahon
Edward Peter who is also known as Ed McMahon, Jr. was an American celebrity, game show host, comedian and announcer. He is most known for the announcer and sidekick on the show 'The Tonight Show' by Johnny Carson that was aired in 1962 to 1992. Edward also hosted the original version of Star Search for the year 1982 to 1986. For the year 1982 to 1986, he co-hosted 'Bloopers and Practical Jokes' of TV with Dick Clark.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 6, 1923 to Eleanor McMahon and Peter McMahon. Before TV career he worked in the U. S. Army and Navy in World War II. Along with this he also worked as co-host the annual Labor Day weekend Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. In 2008, he appeared for the last time with 41st episode in Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon.
McMahon has died because of bone cancer at the age of 86. He was facing some financial problems that are now transferred to this wife Pamela McMahon. Before his death there were number of troubles that outlined his money problems and for that some blamed his wife Pamela McMahon. Ed MaMahon had three daughters and three sisters Claudia McMahon, Katherine McMahon, Linda McMahon, Michael Edward, Jeffery McMahon and Lex McMahon.
