General Beauregard Lee

General Beauregard Lee is a name of famous groundhog located at Yellow River Game Ranch of Lilburn, Georgia, which is outside of the Atlanta. He is the person who received honorary doctorates in weather studies from the University of Georgia – 'DWP, Doctor of Weather Prognostication' and 'Doctor of Southern Groundology' from Georgia State University. His reports are 94 percent accurate for every year.

Groundhog Day is being celebrated on every year on 2 February in the countries like United States, Canada and in some other part of the world. In the courtiers like United States and Canada the day is celebrated as a holiday on February 2. The largest celebration of the Groundhog Day is held in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania with crowd of over 40,000. Now the way of the celebration has been changed where people use to watch and enjoy the early morning events.

'The Yellow River Game Ranch' is located at two and half miles of east of Stone Mountain on Highway 78, where you will find number of animals and birds of different species. It is situated on 24 wooded acres for more than 600 birds and animals. Here you will find the animals like white tailed deer, buffalo, bunnies, sheep, black bears, kid goats etc. It has a largest herd of buffalo of Mississippi, which roams in the back meadow. Billy Goat Gruff Memorial Bridge and Bunny Burrows are very popular.
