Hard Rock Park is a theme park covered in about 140 acre in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It is opened in last April to attract tourists with their interests for Led Zeppelin and roller coasters. Because of some financial issues Hard Rock Park was closed on September 24, 2008 and was reopened on May 23, 2009.
The name Hard Rock was approved by Seminole Nations to Hard Rock International. There was a time when rumors about Grand Stand's first rock theme that Hard Rock is going to break and will come a part of casino project. According to Steve Goodwin, CEO of theme park who had gone on record saying that summer chosen for opening the Hard Rock Park was tough to attract people.
Local business leaders want to raise the business of Hard Rock Park but according to theme park consultant Dennis Speigel it is not possible because of the opening of the theme park in bad summer. He also added that the high ticket prizes of the Hard Rock Park are also responsible for the decreased number of visitors to the Hard Rock.
The park is having other various attractions like live shows, rides, kids play areas, interactive elements, gardens, dining and shopping attractions. Roller coaster and live shows are the main attraction of the Hard Rock Park where these music programs used to set. The park is having seating capacity of about 10,000 people.
