Hershey Park Stadium
Hershey Park Stadium is a very popular stadium located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The stadium is used for the sporting facility, concert value and as a location for the big events and functions. Addition to these in 2004 the stadium also hosted Presidential Race Campaign for President George W. Bush.
The bands including The Police, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Springsteen and the E-Street Band, Britney Spears, NSYNC, Maroon 5, Counting Crows, Demi Lovato, Sara Bareilles, Nickelback, Ruch, Coldplay, Destiny's Child, Guns N' Roses, Phish, Bon Jovi, Rihanna, Billy Joel and The Rocking Stones performed at Hershey Park Stadium. Apart from these the championships such as Tournament of Bands and Canalcade of Bands are also being hosted by the stadium.
Hersheypark Arena is name of indoor arena, which is located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. At first it was built as Hershey Sports Arena in 1936. Once upon this arena was a home for the American Hockey League who after moved to GIANT Center in 2002. Arena also hosted some National Hockey League exhibition games.
Except hockey basketball was also played at the Hershey Park Stadium. In 1962 the game between New York Knicks and Wilt Chamberlin was held in which Wilt Chamberlan made a record by gaining 100 points. Arena hosted a birthday celebration for President Dwight D. Eisehower on October 13, 1953.
