'Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen' is an American singer and songwriter and is also known as with the nickname 'The Boss'. He was born in Long branch, New Jersey on September 23, 1949. He is best known for his brand 'heartland rock' introducing poetic lyrics, pop hooks and Americana sentiments. However, he also records with E Street Band.

'Born in the U.S.A' and 'Born to Run' are the most successful albums of Springstee, which is made to find out the daily struggles in America. 'The Rising' is another creation by him reflecting the response to the attack of September 11. Springstee collected number of awards in his career including two Golden Globes, twenty Grammy Awards and one Academy Award. His albums are more popular in United States where he sold about 65 million albums and about 120 millions in worldwide.

Recently there was a half time show named 'Super Bowl 2009' that wondered about the age of Springsteen. It is buzz on Google about the age of this person.
