Jackie Norris
Before the selection in the white house she served for Al Gore 2000 Presidential campaign as Iowa state political director. In 2004, she served as a state director for John Kerry's Presidential campaign and as finance director for Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack. She completed her under-graduate education at SUNY College at Geneseo and Masters Degree in Political Science from Iowa State University. She became the first lady with the replacement of her Chief to Staff on June 5, 2009.

Jackie Norris is a Iowa State Director of President Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential elections. During Obama presidency, she is the only lady who served as the First Lady Michelle Obama's Chief of the Staff. On June 4, 2009 it was announced that Susan Sher had been replaced by Norris with her appointment to the Corporation for National Community Service. With this selection she became the First Lady's Chief of Staff.
