Joe Namath
'Joe Namath' the real name is Joseph William but is most popular with the name Joe Willie or Broadway Joe. He was born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania on May 31, 1943. He is a formal American football quarterback and had started his football career from 1962-1964 playing at collage level football for the University of Alabama. But his professional football career was started with American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL).
The performance in the Super Ball III in January 1969 with the 16-7 wins is his top most career of his football career. Except this he has other 77 wins but loss 108 with 3 ties. In his whole career he threw about 173 touchdowns, 220 interceptions with completion of 1,886 passes for total 27,663 yards. In his professional career he played for 3 division champions and got one league championship that is 1968 AFL Championship and world championship Super Bowl III.
Apart from this he also tried for the acting career and performed in several movies and television series including 'CC and Company' and 'The Waverly Wonder'. He also has guest appearance in the series such as 'Married with Children', 'The Flip Wilson Show', 'The Brady Bunch', 'Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In', 'The Simpsons', 'The Dean Martin Show', 'ALF', 'The John Larroquette Show' and 'The A-Team'.
Joe also worked as color commentator for NFL games for some period. He is still very famous and recently he had his Celebrity Golf Classic video at the age of 65. He has done this video even after various health problems such as knee problem that make him painful to walk and drinking problems.
