John Nash Biography
John Nash was an English architect and town planner who was born in September 1752 in London. He was one of the most important architects of the regency period. His career was started at the office of Sir Robert Taylor. After that, in 1777 he decided to start his own practice but unfortunately not got success, Which motivated him to go to Wales where he build number of cottages, country houses and various other public works. He achieved large success by 1791.
Except this he became a founder member of the London Group. He was very talented that he worked in both the 'World Wars' as an official war artist. He was one of the eight men who were ordered to cross No-Mans-Land at Marcoing. Only Nash and very few men were returned from No-Mans-Land. However, Nash was highlighted at the top in memory of this failed attack.
He was one of the three attached architects who were appointed for the Board of Works. After that he had started the conversion of the Royal Pavilion at Brighton. He was dismissed from the Board of Works after the death of George VI in 1830. He died on May 13, 1835 after the retirement to East Cowes Castle.
There is an American movie 'A Beautiful Mind', which is based on the life of John Forbes Nash Jr and was come in 2001. It was directed by Ron Howard and was written by Akiva Goldsman. The movie was the bestseller in 2001. Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Christopher Plummer, Ed Harris and Paul Bettany were the main casts of this movie.
