Journey Band
Journey is an American rock band, which was built in California, San Francisco and in some other countries in 1973. The band faced various phases but finally got success in early 1980s with the hits rock and power ballads including 'Separate Ways', 'Faithfully', 'Don't Stop Believin', 'Open Arms', 'Any Way You Want It', 'Send Her My Love', 'Who's Crying Now', 'Wheel in the Sky'. The group has been nominated in 1990s for the Grammy hit 'When You Love a Woman'.
Steve Perry is the lead vocalist of the band 'Journey' who is also a singer and songwriter of America. He got huge success in solo career in late 80s and 90s. His Street Talk was at the 12th position on the chart. After that his other release 'For the Love of Strange Medicine' got 15th position on the chart. Perry is the singer who was always on top of 'The 100 Greatest Singers of All-Time'. His technical skills, pure vocal tone, emotive delivery and wide vocal range are the plus points to make him so popular.
For the 'Journey' he provided his vocals for the albums Infinity (1978), Departure (1980), Evaluation (1979), Dream After Dream (1980), Captured (1980), Escape (1981), Frontiers (1983), Raised on Radio (1986), Trial By Fire (1996). His was the best and unmistakable voice for the Journey through out his time for Journey. There are number of other members of Journey including Randy Jackson, a singer, music manager, record producer, television personality and A & R executive; Arnel Pineda who played an important role for the rock band Journey.
