Kirk Herbstreit
Kirk Herbstreit is name famous as an analyst for College GameDay, a television program of ESPN that covers all the news of college football and also provides color commentary during football games on ABC and ESPN. He was born in Centerville, Ohio on August 19, 1969. Kirk appears as commentator for every year in EA Sports' NCAA Football. Also he was a quarterback on the 'Ohio State' football team.
He completed his graduation from Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio. For the year 1989 to 1993, he was a letter-winner as a quarterback at Ohio State University. He began playing at high school and was Gatorade Player of the year. In fact, he was the first player who commit to the Ohio State Buckeyes. In Cincinnati Bengals, he was also has an annual High School Football showdown in Cincinnati, OH.
He serves as analyst for the ABC and is also a donor for Columbus, Ohio. In 1997, he was nominated for the Sports Emmy Award as top TV's studio analyst along with Cris Collinsworth, Howie Long, Steve Lyons and Terry Bradshaw. Krik has also written a weekly in-season column under the title "Inside The Game With Kirk Herstreit" for the sport channel 'The Sporting News'.
