Land of The Lost'Land of the lost' is a science fiction comedy movie of 2009 and is based on the TV series of 1974 with the same name. Brad Silberling has directed the movie while Anna Friel and Will Ferrell are the starring. The production of this film was started in 2008. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince were the competitors for the 'Land of the Lost'. The cast of the movie were Will Ferrell (Dr. Rick Marshall), Danny McBride (Will Stanton), Anna Friel (Holly Cantrell), Jorma Taccone (Cha-Ka), Leonard Nimoy (voice of The Zan), John Boylan (Enik) and Matt Lauer (Himsef).
Michael Giacchino has composed the song 'The Score to Land of the Lost' with 88 piece ensemble and 35 person choir. The original song 'Land of the Lost' theme was sung by Rick Marshall where as 'A Chrous Line' is playing as the part of the story. The movie has the various characters and one of them is Sleestaks, which are large and green with the features of insectoid and reptilian. Sleestakes have the scaly skin and the bulbous eyes and frills around their neck. 'Land of the Lost' trailer was showed in the Super Bowl XLIII in 2009. Except this Subway Restaurants has published or revealed the second trailer on their website. Subway Restaurant was paid for the appearance in the Land of the Lost. Pop Rocks and JW Marriott Hotels also played to make publicity of the film. The film was not so good at the box office for the first weekend as per the expectations. The film was expected $30million but earned only $19 million and recorded as the major flop of 2009.
