Laura Kightlinger
Laura Kightlinger is a name of an American actress, writer and comedian. She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on June 13, 1964. While plying the role of comedian she got a break to write for television sitcom Roseanne. She has written for 20th season of Saturday Night Live and Dennis Miller Live. During the season of 'Saturday Night Live' she copied several celebrities including Marcia Clark, Brooke Shields, Mary Hart, Paula Poundstone and Conne Chung.
She also appeared in the series Shelia as a guest role of a nurse at fertility clinic. She worked as consulting producer and writer on Will and Grace. She was also a reporter of 'The Daily Show' in 1998. For HBO sitcom Lucky Louie, she was a regular for this series. Also there was her own show named IFC, The Minor Accomplishment of Jackie Woodman for that she herself was a writer, creator and star. Along with this she also created a nomination. Her book 'Quick Shots of False Hope' is being adapted for the film. The book was described in 'The New York Times Book Review' as a 'memorable disturbing and darkly comic'.
Her film 'Dependable People' has won Black Maria Director's Citation and IFCT Best Director Award in 2002. Also there is a horror mocumentary known as Cat-Demon: Re-Exhumed’ by Luara, which is now making film festival rounds in LA film festival. She also wrote and produced a comedy series 'The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman' telling the story of two friends. The series was aired on IFC from August 4, 2006 to September 23, 2007.
