Leslie Porterfield
Leslie Porterfield is the fastest motorcyclist of the America who is called as the 'The Fastest Women on a Motorcycle'. She grabbed three speed records and now is a member of Bonneville 200 mph club. Also she has her own High Five Cycle, which is being used for motorcycle dealership in Dallas town.
Discovery channel has featured her on their news channel with their program 'Speed Capital of the World: Bonneville'. Recently she has been named as the 2008 AMA Racing Female rider of the year. Leslie competed in August at the Bonneville and became the first women by taking part in elite 200 mph club.
She is having excellent skills behind the bars that helped her to gain the praise. Horner who is her bike builder not only supports her with both bikes but also builds the bike, engine, turbo system on Hayabusa. Griffiths who is the other bike builder helps Horner with bike building and is responsible for the duties including data acquisition and tuning on the bikes.
Leslie is dreaming to go faster in her life with the help of sponsors including World Wide Bearings, WPS, Fieldsheer, Arai Helmets, PMR Components, Falicon, Air Tech, FastDates.com, Spider grips, Heads up and APEX.
Jim Gianatasis photographed her in 2009 with her LSR turbo Hayabusa. These pictures were used for the Websites and Fast Dates Calendar. Also she is going to handle stage shows announcements and interviews of 2009 programs. She will also conduct presentation of Calendar Bike Building Championship Award, which is being sponsored by Performance Machine.
