Lisa Lampanelli
Lisa Lampanelli was born on July 19, 1961 and is very popular for doing comedy. She is also called as 'Comedy's Lovable Queen'. She has some specialty in her comedy like raunchy and racy style of comedy including subjects such as homosexuality and race under taboo subjects.
She was born in middle class American Italian family in Trumbull, Connecticut. Her father was working for Sikorsky Aircraft who later then become painter. She completed her schooling in catholic schools and studied Journalism from Syracuse University. Her career was started by the post of copy editor at Popular Mechanics. At the Rolling stone she also worked as an assistant. Lampanelli was also a fact checker and chief of a research for the magazine named as 'Spy magazine'.
Her comedy career was started in 1990 in New York but got a break at Chevy Chase's '2002 New York Friars' Club roast. She then participated in the roasts of Jeff Foxworthy, Denis Leary, Pamela Anderson, William Shatner and Flavor Flav.
The actual comedy by Lampanelli with title 'Take it Like a Man' was released in 2005. You can see her appearance in 'Larry the Cable Guy' and 'Health Inspector' of 2006. She has special appearance in 'So NoTORIous' by VH1. The special show 'Dirty Girl' stand by her was aired in 2007 in various comedy centers. She also worked in movie Delta Farce in early 2007.
Lampanelli taped one hour HBO special in Santa Rosa, CA on November 21, 2008, which was her first special episode at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. On January 31, 2009 her special 'Lisa Lampanelli: Long Live the Queen' was aired that was directed by Dave Higby. In 2008, she nominated for the best comedy album-'Dirty Girl'.
