Macgruber
MacGruber is nothing but a recurring sketch viewed on the 'Saturday Night Live' a television series of NBC. First appearance of the MacGruber was done on January 2007. Will Forte is the main and leading sketch stars as the special operations agents of MacGruber in each episode. It is the sketch of a takeoff of the adventure series MacGyver of 2010.
SNL writer Jorma Taccone has created the character of the MacGruber. Taccone has directed and written the sketches while. Forte is also played an important role in writing the sketches. However, March 2008 and May 2008 installments were not directed by Taccone. In 2009 the Pepsi commercial was designed to give a look of MacGruber sketches. Richard Dean Anderson, the MacGyver star appeared in three commercials of Pepsi held during January 31, 2009.
There was also a second commercial, which was aired during Super Bowl XLIII. The commercial has showed that MacGyber and MacGruber get locked in the control room of illegal supply ship. Here MacGruber gets attracted towards Pepsi and announces that he has changed him name MacGruber to Pepsuber in the third commercial of Pepsi. Also there was a change in the songs lyrics and dialogue of MacGruber, which was replaced by the word Pepsi.
