'Man vs Wild' is a survival television serial and is also known as 'Born Survivor: Bear Grylls' and 'Ultimate Survival'. Bear Grylls of the Discovery Channel has hosted the series. 'Diverse Bristol' the British television production company has produced this series. The first show was broadcasted on November 10, 2006 and the major episode 'The Rockies' was aired on October 27, 2006.
The host Bear Grylls who is known by the nick name Bear was born on June 7, 1974. He is a writer, British adventure and television presenter but became most famous with his appearance in the series Born Survivor in the United States. Bear is one of the youngest Britons who climbed the Mount Everest at the age of 23. In the series Man vs Wild the host Bear Grylls did some own stunts in dangerous situations.
He completed his education at Eaton House, Ludgrove School, Eton College and at the University of London. His interest in adventure pushed to join army and he joined Indian Army and spent few months in tracking in the Himalayan Mountains of Sikkim and Assam. After then he did part time service with the '21 Regiment Special Air Service, 21 SAS(R)' as a survival instructor, trooper and Patrol Medic for the United Kingdom Special Forces. Finally he moved to media and worked for number series and advertises including recreation of desert training of French Foreign Legion, which was showed on the Military Channel of USA.
