Charles Edward Greens is an American Football Defensive Tackle and is known as 'Mean Joe' and 'Greene'. He played for NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers. In career, through out 1970's he was the leading player of the National Football League. He is the player who won the Super Bowl champion for four times and was the member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Before entering NFL he had an outstanding college performance and career at North Texas State University. He was the leader for three seasons of career. The nick name 'Mean Green' was given by the fans of Pittsburgh who mistakenly assumed him as a North Texas team. He was selected for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1969 with the NFL draft. He took retirement from the NFL but spend a year for NFL coverage of CBS as a color analyst. The Pittsburgh stellers won the Super Bowl XL that gave Green a 5th Super Bowl Ring and sixth position with the won of Super Bowl XLIII.
His performance was reprised by the Troy Polamalu through an iconic Coke ad in Super Bowl in 2009. This is the revision of 70's original ad the Mean Joe Greene Coke ad. In new ad one fan of Green follows him and offers a Coke Zero to him. after that the brand managers runs for the Coke Zero but Polamalu get it again by beating them and offers to the young fan.
