Peter and the Wolf
'Peter and the Wolf' is a work of art done by Sergei Prokofiev and was written in 1936. it is nothing but a children's story told by a narrator. It is a full musical symphony in which each characters of the story is scored with the instrument such as flute, clarinet, oboe, 3 horns, bassoon, trumpet, timpani, trombone, triangle, cymbals, tambourine, snare drum, cymbals, castanets, strings and bass drums. Each character of the story is having a meticulous instrument and theme. For bird there is flute, oboe for duck, clarinet for cat, bassoon for grandfather, woodwind theme of bass drum and timpani for hunters, French horns for wolf and string instruments for peter.
Peter is a young boy and lives with his grandfather in a forest clearing leaving the garden door open. One day he hang out leaving the gate door open that the duck living in the yard use this opportunity and goes for swimming in the pond. Duck gets hunted by the wolf and Peter helps to save his life and trap the wolf. When he was struggling to save the duck's life and to trap the wolf, some hunters seeking to track the wolf come to the spot and helps Peter to trap him. Peter conveys him to take off the wolf to keep in the Zoo.
