Santonio HolmesSantonio Holmes is name of an American football wide receiver and he plays for New York Jets of the National Football League. He was born in Belle Galde, Florida on March 3, 1984. Pittsburgh Steelers drafted him for the first round of 2006 NFL Draft. Before football wide receiver he worked as a letterman in football, track and basketball. He was recognized for selling drugs in his hometown of Belle Glade, Florida when he was a teenager.
He was named the Steelers where he played and enjoyed the breakout season 2007. Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional American football team and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Now they are member of North Division in AFC that is American Football Conference in the National Football League. Pittsburgh Steelers founded in 1933 and is the oldest franchise in the AFC. Recently they won the championship, Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009. Before this they have won number of Super Bowl XLIII Championships. On July 8, 1933, Steelers were started as the Pittsburgh Pirates by Art Rooney. In the beginning the Pittsburgh Steelers were entered to the field as the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 20, 1933 but lose by 23-2 to New York Gaints. They never got hike in their position till 1930 in their division. By 1938 they make a history by signing Bryan White of the U. S. Supreme Court, which was the biggest contract for them in their NFL history. After 1940 season pirated renamed themselves as Steelers.
