Seixas
Raul Seixas was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, rock composer and producer born in Salvador, Brazil on June 28, 1945. However, he died in August 21, 1989 of a heart attack in Sao Paulo. On the occasion of his birthday his fans throws a parade in his respect on the land of San Paulo.
He was living near the United States consulate in Salvador that helped him to become fluent in English language. He was introduced to artists of the rock and roll like Little Richard, Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley. He was impressed with the Elvis music that pushed him to become a musician. He formed his first group at the age of 12 and appeared on TV Salvador with their performance of Little Richard and Elvis, covers of Lewis and cowboy music in Brazil.
The rock group had earned too much popularity in mid 1960s and started backing some famous singers Jerry Adriani and Roberto Carlos. The graph of his career was increasing constantly but he got addiction with alcohol that result to slow down the rate through out 1980s. Later he suffered by diabetes and pancreatitis. He died of cardiac arrest on August 21, 1989. However, his final album 'A Panela do Diabo' was relased two days after his death.
There was an American male tennis player Elias Victor Sexias, Jr. who was born on August 30, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his graduation in 1949 but before that served in World War II. In his tennis career he was in Top Ten in U.S in between 1942 to 1966
