Steve Stricker
Steven Charles Stricker is an American Professional Golfer who was born in Edgerton, Wisconsin on February 23, 1967. Currently he is on the second position in the Official World Golf Rankings. Simple and smooth strokes are his specialty. He completed his graduation from University of Illinois in 1990 but turned to the profession of golfer in the same year and started career with the Canadian Professional Golf Tour. In his golf career he has won PGA Tour for eight times.
In 1994 he first joined the PGA Tour and gained the first success in 1996 with the victories of Motorola Western Open and Kemper Open. He has collected the third with WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship beating Pierre Fulke 2 and 1. Steve came back in 2007 after long period where he ended the 2007 FedEx Cup Playoffs to Tiger Woods. Recently he won the 2007 Barclays at Weschester County Club in Harrison.
James Michael Furyk is another American Professional Golfer who was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania on May 12, 1970. He is known with the nick name "The Grinder" because of his playing style at top level. He grabbed the second position in the Official World Golf Rankings in September 2006. In fact he was in top ten in between 1999 and 2009 for over 270 weeks.
He played at the 2007 United States Open Golf Championship, which was 107th U. S. Open and was played from June 14 to June 17, 2007 at Oakmont country Club. Jim Furyk and Tiger Woods were the previous winners of the U. S. Open. Angel Cabrera break their record by wining 107th U.S. Open.
