Super Bowl MVP
'Super Bowl MVP' is an award, which is being presented annually for the best football player of the Super Bowl. 'Fan vote' is the process to choose the winner, which is used to hold during the game by a board of 16 American football broadcasters and writers. The board vote at the end for the player that is been counted as the 80% of the vote tally and the remaining 20% of the viewers. Viewers votes for their favorite player using internet or by using the cellular phones.
The Super Bowl XXXV Award through voting was started in 2001 and was the first award where the fans were allowed for the event. However, it was originally started since 1967 where the 40 players were awarded with MVP award. Bart Starr was the first winner of MVP of the first Super Bowl. Sport magazine has presented this Super Bowl MVP from 1967 to 1989. After then that from 1990 NFL has been stared to present the Super Bowl MVP.
The Super Bowl Award was won by the Joe Montana for three times and he is the only player to win it for three times. Tom Brady and Terry Bradshaw have won it for two times. Recently the super bowl was played on February 1, 2009 that ended the previous NFL season and the Super Bowl XLIII held on February 1, 2009 ended the season of 2008.
